I’m hoping Animal Control gets better. There are a few shows out right now that seem to have the right idea but their writers aren’t don’t seem interested in their own characters. 

The last two seasons of Community are definitely interesting. The fifth season didn’t have as many laughs, but it really cracked me up where it succeeded, and the sixth season felt more like a different show, almost like an indie film.

Better than the fourth season in many ways, but I still think seasons 2 and 3 are…

I would have said Odyssey’s issue is the sheer amount of moons that are available around the end game.

Jumped 100 times? Here’s a moon. Saw a dog? Have five moons. 

I think this episode would have felt a lot better if we didn’t know this was the show’s last season.

Also, this has been a problem for a while now, but everyone on the show has become a bit homogenized. I don’t really see a reason why Rebecca should be familiar with the works of Kenny Rogers.

I dunno, people voted for Trump despite EVERYTHING. We knew he was a racist grifter going in.

I’ve noticed that the games I’ve liked most in the last few years just take well established game elements and build on top of them. Games like Celeste, Shovel Knight and Stardew.

There’s less time for gaming, and playing any game that just isn’t a perfect fit for you feels like time lost. Stardew didn’t feel like that.

I wish that the Switch had some mod support just for this title.

Maybe if they handed things over to Dreamworks, MAYBE.

It really sounds like the movie is just checking boxes.

I keep seeing people rush to the “It’s supposed to be a kid’s movie!” defense, as if they’ve never seen a kids movie before.

I’m happy if you as a person enjoyed it, but it seems like a silly defense to use.

Makes perfect sense. For us a movie also means having to get a baby sitter, so an already expensive date gets more expensive. 

Not trying to change your mind, but the one time I did go to an Alamo Drafthouse, the server/usher was like a damn ninja. 

I think Dani and Jamie were set up as “Aces” or really good, but Zava is more like a Messi level type player.

Zava possibly leaving like that would be a bit dumb in my opinion, granted he had a habit of dipping in and out of the story at the show’s convenience. I did like his “Zava’isms”.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a final match.

It’s such a bland show, and it really feels like all the sets will fall over if someone bumps into them.

Defector isn’t perfect, but it’s better.

I thought that might have been from the Jedi Academy series, but I could be very fuzzy on my memories of that.

 I don’t think anyone is saying it has to be the level of prestige cinema, just that it shouldn’t be awful.

Parents have to (or should) also be watching these films, and have to deal with the “fall out”.
