I appreciated the fact that they were doing something different and I gave it a couple of chances. But ultimately it was far too manic for me; I found it exhausting to watch.
I mean, who can keep up with a show like Doctor Who? One episode a year is a grueling schedule to ask a reviewer to do in-depth articles about.
Or a more cynical person would think that Reynolds knew that if he reached out, Miller would backtrack publicly.
If Miller wasn’t upset, one wonders why he would go on a podcast and declare that he wouldn’t do Deadpool 3 even if they doubled his salary.

It seems unlikely that the massive review bombing campaign that occurred before any episodes aired are the result of legitimate criticisms of the show.
People sure have a way of reading something that says “racists are bad” and thinking it said “all people in X group are bad racists.”
