From one dumb old white guy to another, hear, hear!

Man, if a dumb old white guy like me can be inspired by Ms. Nicholl’s legacy, I can’t begin to imagine how important she was to people who looked like her and shared her struggles.  She was nothing short of beautiful and brilliant!

My favorite stories from her are when MLK Jr told her she couldn’t quit and when she told Roddenberry “I know what you are doing here” and he said “Shhh...don’t tell anybody.”

It's cool, I needed to cry more today anyway...

May she and take the second star on the right and go straight on until morning.

Like acting in general, sometimes the name value is just that, but sometimes the name value is actually quite perfect for the role. Tom Hanks’ folksy charm is not just window dressing for Toy Story, it’s necessary that we have a built-in likeability “Oh hey Tom Hanks, I like him, what a swell guy!” factor for him at

Ancient spirits of evil, transform this decayed form... into something that rhymes with Unruh - the ever glowing!

Those all happened BEFORE launching and commissioning. Reading is tough, I know.

There’s no curveballs in space.

Futurama is a good comparison: Relentlessly funny, but never at the cost of the stories its trying to tell and the characters you care about.

I really like this show. I love how it is both its own thing & hilariously parodies/ borrows from all of the earlier shows. The episode where Ransom became a Gary Mitchell-like god-like being & how Mariner resolved it was amazing

You know how they renamed Starling City to Star City on Arrow? Maybe renaming Raccoon City should be seriously considered, because it still sounds ridiculous... I should know, as I live just across the river, in Chipmunk Town.

I’m afraid that the criticism of this post is missing the mark and you’ll take the wrong lesson. Its important you know how unfunny it is. Not because it’s politically incorrect or too edgy. It’s just not funny or clever. First off the purple tie and suit detail adds nothing.  It’s just extra words that’s trying to

suggested that the character was actually a cast member on The Simpsons that demonstrated “concrete proof the show had jumped the shark.”

I was curious about the sort of person who would take the time to post that, so I scrolled through their other comments. Every single one of them is a punchline. They come across like a wannabe stand-up comic at open mic night, desperately reaching for a laugh.

apply a defibrillator jolt to its shambling bulk” in fact, this past season of The Simpsons was excellent. You wouldn’t know it because nobody on this site reviews television anymore, or does anything other than snark, but it’s well worth watching.

Damn, you must be a real asshole.

Ooooo, weeeee.
