Snicker. Try harder, son. Your dads did better trying to trash TNG.

“And if they refuse?”
Seconded.
Reminder, if you haven't cast your ballot, vote IN PERSON tomorrow.
I loved that Michael’s recap log used the TNG-era stardate system— stardate 865211.3 correctly places this episode in 3189.
Technology! The Doctor on Voyager give Seven a full head of hair overnight when he de-Borged her.
Are you actually watching the show or just mad at a recap? Optimistic people rebuilding their optimistic Utopia is more interesting than just more of the same running around that Utopia. 2020 needs shows about building hope to the future, not just 80-90s Trek’s handwave “We get over it yay!” backstory.
This episode literally had them talking things out with a diplomatic solution — the very epitome of Trek.
We shouldn’t be surprised; after all, “die” is right there in the word.
A solid, if not amazing, episode.
This show has gotten a lot better since they did a hard reset on Michael’s character and jettisoned her Vulcan character traits. This series has improved than the last 2. It reminds me of the Voyager 2 parter ‘Year of hell’
Plus, it’d be kinda shitty to do that to all the other studios
Changelings aren’t real; the Dominion War didn’t happen!
I think The Dog is the weirdest thing the show has done so far, and I love it. The turning to a cube and suddenly talking at the end just were so wonderfully surreal.
Good little The Dog...
This reminded me of the Next Generation episode ‘Tapestry’, only the message being the opposite. In Tapestry Picard would rather die than be anything less than the Captain he was. For him, the rise in ranks, the responsibilities of command, they were his end goals. He needed to be Captain, as it defined his life.
So much about the space program is absurd and reflects our pork barrel approach to spend. Why else do you have mission control and the space center in freaking Houston, and the actual launch complex in the Cape? The old school astronauts actually used to commute back and forth via T-38 trainer jets.
Let’s just say my pogo stick is now in a better place... By which I mean up my butt.
The angry, loud bigots usually don’t leave the country, because they think they already live in the best place on the planet, and why bother going anywhere else?
Dear Nobody,
