If I had a nickle for every time a train derailed and hit my detatched garage I’d have two nickles.  Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

I don’t know if this applies to this particular department, but there are some that have a hard time finding replacement because no one wants to be a cop in their department, so they give a ton of leeway. Bad cops also would tend to get into those departments even if they are unwanted elsewhere.

Imposter syndrome is where you feel like you’re underqualified in a situation where you’re actually perfectly competent. This is more like the Dunning Kruger effect. You’re not competent enough to understand that you’re underqualified.

It also may be due to Paramount+ trying to increase it’s revenue to make it look more attractive for a potential buyer.

I wonder if it’s the same system that spits out your Informed Delivery information. Also, if you’re subscribed to that free service, I’m assuming someone could intercept the email being sent and get copies of what’s being sent.

These people are not Activists or Protesters. They are borderline Climate Terrorists.

I’m all for activism, protesting, making your voice heard and all, but trespassing and vandalism like this make me LESS sympathetic to their cause. Be heard with ideas and solutions, not temper-tantrums. 

Precisely. A lot of these really stupid demonstrations against things that are unrelated to the environment are clearly being paid for or staged.
