Lol kinda right

Ahh, I liked the songs.
That kid reminds me of the actor from Jonathan Glazer's Birth. There's an odd vibe from him, but I also am inclined to think that he's actually just a good kid who got wrongly accused of choking that girl (I still think one of the twins did it). To me, Shailene Woodley's character had been previously raped and…
I'll definetly be watching this. I just really need a heart-warming feel good movie.
I loved Arrival! Went nuts with the ending. Haven't seen Hidden Figures though, didn't have the time.
Well, I don't really think La La Land's intention was to have to lead actors who can sing and dance like Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. While the movie pays a big homage to old musicals, it also has a contemporary touch to which I'm fond of, as it would have otherwise felt like The Artist all over again.
Elle is really provocative and it could have been outright offensive in the hands of less skilled writer and director.
Agreed. Isabelle Huppert knocked it out of the fucking park. It actually reminds me of Fernanda Montenegro being nominated for best actress in Central Station and losing it to Gwynelth Paltrow in Fucking Shakespeare in Fucking Love.
NEVA
I agree with you. Some moments were really hilarious to me, but the movie as a whole was a pain in the ass to watch. Almost three hours of storylines I wasn't really interested in seeing.
While I do think that Boyhod would have gotten a lot less praise had it been shot in a conventional way, I still love it and wish it had won Best Picture back in the day.
Birdman felt like an endless self masturbatory Hollywood reunion. Don't have a good script? Throw a great cast and try shooting it all in tracking shot so people overlook how boring and pretentious it really was.
Waaat. I thought that her scene with Mahershala Ali fighting over Chiron when she's doing drugs was really powerful. Her performance throughout the movie is a stand out IMO.
Yes! I still prefer Another Day of Sun though. Or A Lovely Night.
I loved the shit out of La La Land, but I'm hoping Moonlight gets Best Picture, or at the very least Best Director (not considering supporting actor because Mahershala Ali already got it).
Ah, I don't really mind her. Not to mention that Marnie's episode last year was actually pretty amazing.
Loved the premiere except for the Desi and Marnie thing. I mean, I'd have been glad if the show had just forgotten about him. He's insufferable. #FuckDesi.
Season 2 had some amazing moments, specially in the last episode. But yes, the show is just great when it accepts the cheesy and the ridiculous.
Yeahhh! Just so corny and dumb.
What I love about House of Cards is those kind of people that kind of hate the show, but still make the effort to be sure everyone is aware that it's not a prestige drama to them, because maybe they are too smart for it or their self indulgent self likes to think so. Yeah, you can manage your time better.
