Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll keep watching it, the opening credits are just too beautiful.

Honestly speaking, the show hasn't caught my eye yet. The cast is good, beautiful cinematography but the story has been too meh so far. I came into this show with no idea of what it was about so that's probably my mistake, however, Jesica Jones has poorly introduced its villain (currently on episode three right now)

This episode was insanely beautiful in many ways I can't possibly put into words. The next episode, along with this one are totally relatable to my old relationships. I'll say though, that 30 minutes isn't enough. I wish the show had episodes running for 15 more minutes.

OH MY GAWD, WILL CORRECT

As much as I adore Hitchcock's Vertigo, I'd love to see a remake of this one directed by the Coen Brothers. I don't see them as the new Hitchcock, however, they could turn this remake into a film that stood by its own.

Geez. I tried last week to rewatch the second season - which I, honestly, have never been a big fan of. Got tired after 20 minutes.

American Horror Story: Kurt Sutter's writing.

That's exactly how I feel!

I may have expressed myself poorly, what I meant is that an adaptation can be different from its original source, considering the fact that what we are seeing in the final product is the director's vision for the book, and it can differ from the author's vision for his/her work.

Thanks!

I see why King hates Kubrick's 'The Shining'. However, I can't picture anyone loathing the film because it's way different than the book. Just let me say that I'm in that group that when it comes to adaptation from book to film, I believe that there should be changes in order to do a proper adaptation. After all, they

I honestly can't see any stories left for the writers on Shameless. I believe that they have come up with so many great stories in the first four years of the show (like Fiona going to prison or losing her siblings to foster care, Frank almost dying…) that could have easily been used in a final season - and would have

I'm not a big fan of the Coen Brothers, but whenever they are just writting a feature, with someone else directing it, the final results are never as good as their work. Specially the last colab they did with Angelina Jollie, that film was awful.

I loved the first season. It was intense, and the hallucinations, along with all the creepy parts (take the whole season, then) were the parts that I admired the most. It felt refreshing, for an example, to see the second-to-last episode feature a total stand alone story, focusing entirely in the past of the

Probably, they rarely surprise us.

As far as I know, Bridge of Spies wasn't well received as expected. I do see him getting a nomination, but I believe Fassbender has greater chances of getting the Oscar.

I saw Beasts of No Nation and Sicario. Let's start with the latter.

Wow, this episode was actually pretty interesting. I've just watched the first two episodes in a roll, so I didn't actually have time to think about Quinn findind Carrie's name on the kill list, so that surprised me, specially considering we are still in the beginning of the season.

Haven't watched the episode yet, but didn't anyone catch the camera guy right behind Carrie in the cover picture???

I love Winslet and the fact that this was written by the same guy who wrote 'The Social Network makes me excited for Steve Jobs.. I do hate most of Boyle's films though.
