they actually fixed them immensely. I completed the game on rare replay.

There’s a reason you see a lot of 3rd party Playstation controllers mimicking the Xbox controller layout and not many Xbox controllers mirroring the PS layout. Offset analog sticks is just more ergonomic. Hell the entire reason why the original Dual Shock has the analog sticks where they are was because it was easier

I’m a PC only gamer.  I have an xbox controller because the stick placement is awesome.

I have a PS5 and a Series X - and they both have their roles - largely because of the controller Xbox is my main platform - I just like it sooo much better. Offset thumbsticks rule. So Xbox exclusives and anything cross platform is on the Xbox. Ps5 is Sony titles and jrpgs which mostly tend to be PS exclusives.

I still don’t have a current generation console, but the Xbox’s superior controller is what kept me an Xbox person from the 360 onward. I simply find offset sticks to be much more comfortable. Same goes for the concave shape on the sticks.

So what you’re saying is that MS’ IP doesn’t have the same cultural cache as IPs that were established long before the Xbox even existed..? Huh, whodathunk? Obviously MS’s characters can’t compete with Nintendo’s in terms of name recognition. Mario is the most famous videogame character of all time and has been around

Far be it from me to take any joy in the perceived “failure” of a game—I really do applaud Bethesda for the staggering amount of hard work they put into what they created, and I think it’s quite special despite its flaws.

I noticed when Kotaku has a strong opinion of something, a lot of their content becomes super slanted to support it. For example, these ‘as told by steam’ are usually funny jabs and silly jokes. I would have expected more of ‘x happened and the physics went ha ha’ and less steam reviews that are just quoting an actual

Yeah, same, although 55 hours in. I did start enjoying the game more once I figured out more of the systems and how things worked, but it feels like a game that is just above average, and yet I can’t put it down. Most of what has me hooked is probably the loot hunt and ship/gun/gear upgrading.

The “comfort food of RPG’s” sounds just about right. I think it’s good. Not great, not bad, just good. Sometimes it’s really good. Despite all the talk of it being so slow, I was almost instantly drawn into it. But overall, it feels fun time in a dive bar with decent food, dated decor and okay company.

I think it’s important to highlight the negative reviews, especially the ones that give specific reasons instead of just “expected more from Bethesda in 2023" or the like. I also think it’s important to point out (and I think it’s a bit disingenuous that it wasn’t in the article) that despite the number of negative

Seems like the more of the game the reviewers played, the more they seemed to like what they uncovered. Which I guess makes sense. You won’t put more effort into a game than what would be required for a review if you weren’t into it. I’m curious at how similar the playthroughs were between reviewers, though.

Did you miss the last 10 years of Mustang production?  GT350 and GT500 were incredibly potent cars.

This article didn’t really do the car much justice. Its a much bigger deal than you’re making it out to be.

The Mustang GoTDamn moniker

This article is glossing over just what a BEAST this thing is. First of all, it’s going to have close to a 50/50 weight distribution. “How?” you ask? Ford ditched the traditional transmission for a Tremec transaxle. As in a transmission/differential combo, like like the AMG GT. There’s a driveshaft running the power

Given the price tag and the limited production run, I’m guessing this is targeted towards the MECUM/Barret Jackson crowd. Most of these will probably just sit in a collection somewhere and never get driven. Most track enthusiasts with the means to buy this thing will probably opt for a GT3 or GT2 RS instead.

I don’t know why everyone seems to conveniently forget that Xbox had CoD on lock back on the Xbox 360 with the marketing and exclusive content and all that. Activision jumped ship to PlayStation along with millions of Xbox gamers when it was clear Xbox One was going to flop.

So Sony was just throwing an Erdogan style hissy fit? Trying to get as much attention as possible....
