Not admitting that I’m a luddite but I never pair my phone to my car. Had an issue with it 10 years and several cars ago and just gave up. Never tried again. Heck I don’t talk to that many people anyway. Gonna have to catch me the old fashioned way - good cop, bad cop.
Hard to say but I would start the claim with both home and auto insurance and let them work it out with GM through subrogation. That cleanup will take weeks. I’m thinking at least several days to get the smoke smell out of home for sure.
