The could just put those red caliper covers over the non-brembo brakes and pretend that they are Brembos like all the guys in my area. Problem solved.

I read somewhere that Georgia Tech did a study on brake dust and how we breathe that stuff in without noticing. I know the focus here is copper but there are a lot more chemical compounds in pads that are harmful. It was fascinating.
Polaris has been working diligently with states to pass legislation defining the autocycle category and ensure that a motorcycle license isn’t required to drive a Slingshot on the street.
Yep, I noticed stuff even as a kid. The fog lights were different depending on which car they used for the shot and even though I didn’t know what it was at the time, I saw the connection for the trailer up front where they used to tow the car during close-ups. Later on, I could tell where they used scale models for…
I don’t know why I laughed so hard at this. Their reactions are too funny.
This is the correct answer. A buddy drove one in Vegas during a track event and was gitty the entire time. For the life of me, I couldn’t understand why...
Don’t forget about Colonel Lynch - Colonel Decker’s predecessor. Yeah, the Army sent it’s top guys after them. I spent WAY too much time in front of the TV growing up.
Yep, the LS4 does have Active Fuel Management and for the life of me, I can’t understand why those were so bad and one of the few things MOPAR actually got right on the current gen HEMI engines. I worked at a place that had a fleet of Chevy Tahoes (LH6, I think)and they started consuming oil on the regular right…
I will NOT let you ruin my childhood!!! What’s next - you are going to tell me that they were looping the background sounds of the A-Team van and it really didn’t have a 20-speed transmission and it wasn’t in Park even though I could see the column shifter when BA Baracus was driving?!?!?! Please don’t do this to me.
This is why I hate when people ride my bike. It takes me a couple of rides to get the mirrors exactly the way I want them - minimal blind spot while seeing directly behind me. Sitting in the driveway looking in your mirror is totally different when actually out on the street in traffic. Had to take my bike in for…
Ah, the step child of the LS engines - LS4. The only LS where the starter is mounted on the transmission and not on the engine block. Yeah, GM got creative with this gem. I’m told the torque steer isn’t that bad with these but it is there. Clean car at a decent price so it should sell. I bet if he had it near a…
I remember back in the day, Honda made it easy. DX = stripper econo box with 4 tires and a steering wheel. LX= power windows, door locks, and cassette. EX= leather seats, sunroof, and CD player and you could only get the V-6 in EX trim. Who the hell knows what they do now....
We checked the Nevada plates and found this confusing information:
*struggling to find a retort*
Good point on the transmission. Reminds me - a buddy of mine had one of the few mid-90s v-6 manual two-door Explorers ever made and to say he had constant transmission/clutch issues would be an understatement.
If there ever was a gif that sums it up, this would be it.
Had one of these back in the day. The only thing the V8 gives you over the 6 is bragging rights and worse gas mileage. The V6 is pretty quick from what I remember. This one is priced to sell and it looks relatively cared for. I give it a thumbs up. NP.
Crossovers and Pickups/SUVs need not apply. Otherwise seems like it could work but not something I would use.
Every time Costco has them on sale, I’ve never in a position to get one but yeah, I have one of those on my “to-get” list for the future.
