More than anything, I need that Captain Carrot series.

Also Canadian, and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to buy anything from Kindle’s American store. Good god, this is even worse than I thought.
Just as a minor note, the game does actually teach you that you can cancel throws. I distinctly remember seeing the pop-up and thinking “I will make note of that.”
I think I might also have to go with Cyndaquil mainly because it was my first ever Pokémon starter. Nostalgia!
As if a Pokemon game is ever going to go on sale
I would also add into the Clueless Hero equation: is it on sale?
True story: I was on an organized trip to a ski town a couple of years ago through the college I was attending at the time, and the bus left the school at roughly 5:30 in the morning. For some godforsaken reason, they showed We’re the Millers on the TV screens in the bus shortly after departure. Absolutely the worst…
There’s a couple of stray “he/his” pronouns left in there, just for consistency’s sake. “Morrison spoke about how he was brought back to DC Comics” and “Morrison still finds a connection between his various takes on the character”
I can second Stranger and Kingdom. The first season of the former was so strong that it made me disappointed by other K-dramas.
There was a certain...NSFW video of Ankha from Animal Crossing that made the rounds recently.
Well this already looked cool but now you’ve sold me on it!
The characterizations of Kraven and Galactus in Squirrel Girl are unimpeachable
I can tell you, having read some of Danielewski’s other work, that this, while complicated, is one that has stuck with me for a long time, and I generally hate “experimental fiction.” Truly one of the most scary books I have ever read.
I wish I could give you far more than one star for this
Magma slug, doo doo doodoodoo, magma slug, doo doo doodoodoo...
Although The Leftovers arguably got better once it was liberated from its source material.
I’m amazed that the Pokemon Company put out so much new Bidoof merch, expecting people would buy it*.
I found Devolution to feel a lot less like an oral history and a lot more straightforwardly narrated for the most part, so I think this seems a lot more filmable than World War Z.
I don’t personally think Galvantula is that cute but Joltik is objectively adorable
I’d also highly recommend The Kirlian Frequency. Kind of like an animated version of Welcome to Nightvale without all the pretension.
