I agree with this 130%

That's what real moose is made from, so it's only logical.

Up on a jack-stand, yup. Only thing it needs now is some tall grass, a few empty beer cans, and a couple dogs.

I'm not a materials engineer, but I understand some of the basics. I don't however understand what you mean "at a specified temperature".

I was going to say something about how you don't park a Rolls, your driver does... but then I though, maybe he is the driver :)

I need to see if I can get out to one of these events :D I just finished re-reading about the MiataBusa, and it sounds awesome :D

I'm not a racecar driver (the closest I've come is a couple races in a Rotax kart), so I don't know exactly how the rules go.

When making a pass, isn't it the responsibility of the passer to make sure he's clear? If he drove into the corner (which didn't really look much like a corner, but it does appear that the track narrowed at that point), and wasn't full ahead of the Porsche, isn't it his responsibility to get/stay out of the way?

exactly like this

I seem to remember a rule at one of the tracks where I live for the small local class groups (these were real modified racecars, but they weren't sponsored by big-name companies). My understanding was at the end of the race, they would take the winning (or maybe top 3, I don't remember) and put their cars/engines up

Since you only specified fuel economy, the best way is to never stop your car. Get on the freeway, get up into top gear, go as slow as you can and stay in that gear (i.e. drive as far as you can using the lowest RPMs... fewer times that the pistons are filled with gas), and don't stop until you run out of gas.

It seems to be frowning to me. I only buy Mazdas because of their stupid grins.

There is a link in the article to this:

This is a little bit of a tangent, but I could have sworn that I had seen an infographic comparing movies and remakes. After some google searching, it turns out I was wrong. The graphic was about movies and sequels.

as someone with a k'nexpert brother... (yeah, that word is fun), I know :)

But:

That's my understanding too, but I seem to recall plays in the last week (minor games and minor plays) where I thought that a whistle had been blown and then something reviewable happened. As opposed to saying "play over before X", the play was reviewed anyway.

That's probably the comment of the night. Good jorb!

That was exactly what I was thinking. Either that or Flames of War.

clever clever!
