Age of Ultron. . .hoo boy. I think the only outlets still thinking about that movie are the ones that are emotionally invested in rooting for Marvel Studios to succeed in perpetuity.

Those behind it are lucky, Avengers 2 was awful

And dinosaurs.

That is what Rob DOES. Have concerns. He has made a career about talking about concerns.

Yeah, I’m not sure what is wrong with it. A bomb goes off in the middle of a civilian populace and no kids are killed? If I remember right, wasn’t it a suburban area? Is this an area populated only by families that decided not to have children? Like some kind of “childless commune”?

They called the last Avengers movie “Age of Ultron” and from all accounts the only thing they took from that story (which I also heard was terrible) was the title. I think Rob is worried over something that won’t happen, and as already pointed out before, and Rob mentions here, it’s not going to be about registering

Ted 2’s box office results (disappointing?) are $190,000,000.

It almost seems like Avengers got overshadowed this summer by, ironically, the downright enjoyability of Ant-Man of all things. Which, given Ant-Man’s notorious decade spent in development hell, I would’ve NEVER guessed.

Would replace Love & Mercy — & Dano’s typically face-punch-worthy “performance” — with The End of the Tour, but you’re spot-on about Skarsgard in Diary of a Teenage Girl. It was so gross & offputting, I thought I was watching Steve Zahn.

Yeah, but, y’know, Ant-Man is going to be there. So, it’ll all be fine. And Anthony Mackie. C’mon. That guy makes everything better. Cut the check!

“We can discuss the nonchalant murder of children as a mere narrative hook in a mainstream superhero comic at some later date.”

He absolutely “chose” to be there - most certainly if “there” means in the Corps and most likely if “there” means Korea.

They had a pretty funny scene in Bojack that pretty much does a good job of summing it up.

Way to come through with the cheerleader gif! Of course, between this and the constant daily presentations for Jalop CoD, I shudder to think what the softcore pr0n file on your desktop looks like.

Anti-American? These people got married at the Vatican. This is just another photo-op in the glorious, contrived narrative in their lives. The exact fucking opposite of Pat Tillman. Fuck you.

During the Vietnam era, my cousin's draft number was "1." (The only lottery he has ever won in his life.) He high-tailed it the next day to "volunteer" with the National Guard. Hero? I dunno. Smart as hell....YES!

Screw you, there is a huge difference between one of the troops coming home from a conflict, who doesnt have a pot to piss in and not quite sure how to make the ends meet and one of the most wealthy families in the country having one of their crotch fruit come home from a typical, bullshit overseas posting.

So anyone who disagrees with this disingenuous, manufactured public relations ploy between the NFL and the military - likely for the political designs of a powerful family member - is “anti-American” and a scumbag?

Being anti-military circlejerk isn’t anti-American. I was in the military and still think it’s all a bunch of bullshit. The average enlisted/officer is no more a hero than any average person you pull in off of the street. In fact, a large percentage of them are massive assholes. It’s a cultivated image that actively

YAY you did so well at your desk job!
