Have you driven one?  It’s probably the best handling non fast car that I’ve ever owned.  Just because you saw some asshats that didn’t maintain their cars and can’t drive worth a shit doesn’t reflect on the car itself or how fun it is to drive. A 2400lb car with 145hp and a mid engine design is pretty enjoyable.

That is blown out of proportion.  Very easy car to drive if you learn how it handles at its limits.

I’ve owned one and I wouldn’t buy it from this seller in this condition.  

That’s a great price.  Clutch replacement on these is easy.  Just jack up the car, put it on jackstands, have a friend and a floor jack available to drop the trans.  I’ve done it before and it only takes 1.5 hours.  New clutch is $130.

This is a crackpipe.  I love the AW11 MR2 (I owned an 87 MR2 with a proper manual transmission for 7 years) but this car is way too high priced for how beat the interior and exterior is.  The autotragic kills it for me.  If it was 1500 bucks I’d possibly be interested.  These cars need a manual.  Supercharged or not…

That’s some gestapo bullshit rule right there. Those HOA board members must be miserable ass people.  They make the “get off my lawn” people look very personable.

It shouldn’t, but some people don’t have anything better to do than be perpetually offended by the smallest things. The car is running and driven regularly so I don’t see what the problem is. Some people want to stick their nose in other people’s business over the most arbitrary things.
