He liked dominant women and he liked torturing himself to become their champion. With Drusilla it meant being the biggest, baddest bad guy he could be, worshiping at her altar and taking care of her. With Buffy it meant trying to become good and protecting her - something he kept messing up because without a soul he

I honestly can't see a way how the Initiative could have worked at all. if the government knows about the supernatural then everyone should know about the supernatural. It's not like it's a new thing, so there effectively is no masquerade anymore. Also, if the government knows about the supernatural and has a massive

The only way I can handle that is by telling myself how fun it must have been for Amy Acker to play Illyria for a change. I'm not crying, I'm just really, really happy for Acker, really…

I don't know about others but I find Gunn a lot more relatable than Wesley. Gunn was clearly more outgoing and even though he had a difficult past, he seemed to handle it pretty well. I can't for a second believe Gunn would have trouble finding a great girlfriend and making it work.

I love the Mary Poppins books because Mary herself is such a character: vain and selfish and snappy with the kids but ultimately always there to save them and set them right. The movie got a lot of the general atmosphere right but not the character of Mary, even if Julie Andrews is great.

I haven't watched the Arrow but I hear Starling City (Star City? I don't even know) is pretty relaxed about that sort of thing.

Also a murderer. But apart from that, he seems okay if a bit snippy.

I had a completely opposite reaction. Everyone kept saying: "You could have been killed", but is that really true? Jesse was RIGHT THERE. Did people honestly think that she had to think about whether to save him or not? Was there really an option for her to just shrug and go: "Oh well, if he's that dumb, I better find

She wore those baggy Star Labs hoodies a lot. They did sleep in the same room and they hug a lot so maybe he could just… make an educated guess? He is a scientist after all.

In fairness, though, what else could he have done? It's not like they had a plan and their only resource in any situation is "run really fast".

Coast City pizzas and energy bars? I'm sure Barry's fine for money, I'm more curious what Cisco, Caitlin and Wells are living on.

I think it's also a good reminder that Wells has done some pretty bad stuff. At least for me it's easy to forget that because Cavanagh is so charismatic and the character is so much fun, but the guilt he talks about is a real thing that he definitely should be feeling.

But if they didn't leave the doors open, how could any passing meta come around and terrorise them? They would have to invent some sort of ringing, bell-like device they could install in the vicinity of the door and I can't handle that level of techno-babble!

This show is so good at incorporating the parent-child relationships (aka Barry's three dads) in the plot, it would make perfect sense to keep Wells and Jesse both around. Having said that, for a dad and daughter that allegedly don't really get along, they sure do spend a lot of time hugging meaningfully.

Maybe Barry just needs a pep talk to get into it. Maybe in their next date Iris can gaze deeply into his eyes and assure him: "You can do this, Barry. Let's give it another try and just do this thing. I believe in you!"

Absolutely better, regardless which Wells! Having said that, he seemed different from S2 Wells. The (bad) sense of humour was new and there was something a bit manic about him and his gesturing. I wonder if that's there for a reason or if they just wanted to make him a bit more dynamic and relaxed now that Jesse is no

I have to say I never considered them in S1 and S2, respectively, to be Bad Wells and Good Wells as much as Evil Wells and Dick Wells.

There are things in the laundry basket that may or may not have evolved sentience.

Same here. I tried so hard to like it, I don't think I've ever tried so hard in my life for a TV show. But after spending some forty hours (an entire work week!) pushing myself to watch it, I just can't do it anymore. At this point, maybe it suddenly becomes pure gold somewhere in the closing titles of season 2 finale

I hadn't really thought of it that way, but it makes sense. Actually I feel kinda dumb now because the show could not have been clearer about the parallels between mojo and… mojo. So poor Amenadiel is shouting out "I can't" and clearly desperate to talk to someone and Luci is being stupid and selfish and just not
