You sir, have my thanks, for saying exactly what I was going to.

Personally I think this is sweet!

That sounds great. Similar to many of my merkur shenanigans.

That's a great merkur name! I named my red 89 the millenium falcon, or the starship enterprise, whichever you prefer. Stinking fast and fun when it works...

If you drove like the driver in the video, even my b5 a4, or merkur xr4ti would bite you in the ass. I definitely agree with being very aware while driving, though I've never been on a track, there are plenty of stupid drivers on public roads.

Regrettably, I've haven't gotten to participate in a track day, so I don't know any of the rules. But I know enough to see how incredibly dumb and unskilled that driver is. I have taught myself how to drive my 2 cars at near their limits (especially on dirt roads) and know darn well that if he had attempted to drive

I saw an econoline pickup a few months ago, though it was really cool. I love odd cars. Here's my addition, maybe not technically a ford, but the Merkur Xr4ti. Of which I am a proud owner of one.

That is pretty cool. My neighbor was a cop, and the best i got was "well I've seen YOU a few times when you haven't seen me" I still haven't figured out the proper response for that, Thanks?

First time ever driving on snow, merkur xr4ti with messed up camber, cheap almost bald summer tires. I had just dropped my date off, and ended up going 15 mph backwards after hitting patch of black ice, the car was still in first with the tires spinning. the first but not the last time I've spun that car in the

That's pretty awesome, despite the fact that he probably had stopped racing. It's like that top gear episode when the van passed porshe's on the nurburgring

There is also a funny thing about people who know they are wrong who refuse to agree with cold hard gathered facts so that they can cling to their opinion.

Speed limits set by politicians to make money certainly dont make a difference about what is safe. There are roads here in Utah that are "more dangerous" than those of Virginia, I say that having been there multiple times. But the speed limits in Utah are 65-80 on interstates, and almost never get over 65 in Virginia

who defines what speed is "safe" and what isn't. For example, the suggested speed signs around turns. are written for large vehicles like semi's. You can drive at least 15 over and make those turns with full control of you're vehicle no problem. The distance required to stop from any speed varies greatly on the car,

Not to mention driving the speed limit when 90% of the people on the road are speeding 5-10 over is more dangerous than following the flow of traffic. On I-15 through salt lake city and provo, the speed limit is 65, if you're not doing at least 73, you're almost always the slowest person on the road.
