I say kudos for accurately representing their current police force.

I’ve tried playing this game 3 times (restarting), and always quit 5 to 10 hours in. The story wasn’t gripping enough to slog through the bog standard open-world fluff I’ve long grown tired of in these types of games, and I didn’t like the combat at all.

Yeah that fact is too hard for Nintendo to grasp

The Walking Dead has overstayed its welcome for many, many years at this point.

As a design professional who works with other design professionals, that’s because creative people generally aren’t conservatives.

Uh, no she doesn’t. They made it pretty clear she only likes to flirt to get attention.

I skimmed the review so apologies if this was covered, but are the sidequests any bettter this time around? Also, is there a real-time day/night cycle?

Question to the commentariat: does anyone like the interactions which force you to hold triangle instead of just pressing it, or waiting for thirty seconds while Cloud sloooowly inches through a tight gap in the level?

I’ll never understand the notion that motion blur somehow makes low framerates more tolerable. It doesn’t make the game feel any smoother, it just makes it blurrier because frames are blurrier for longer.

Sure, you’re free to enjoy shit, but that isn’t going to stop people from pointing out that it still stinks.

Right? It’s literally a cast by numbers effort. Suites in a room going through a list of easily recognizable actors for maximum appeal.

Seriously fuck your slideshows Kotaku.

I may be a tad old at this point, but I flipped on his channel surfing through my Roku Live list, watched for about 20 seconds, then immediately went to something else. What the fuck is this knob’s appeal?

Turning this into a live action movie instead of an animated show (or movie) makes absolutely ZERO sense to me, but I’ve long grown tired of the IP anyway.

I got this for Xmas years ago during the first run. I still have the mini nuke on display. The “boom ca-ching” sound is always fun to hear.

Bought the slim for my wife this past Xmas. Quite frankly I haven’t been too impressed with the offering over the past 3 years considering almost every title has been available on the PS4, which we already have. I refused to get the PS5 for that reason, and also the obnoxiously large form factor.

Optional game romances are stupid and add nothing interesting to the experience. The “extended hangout” garbage in Cyberpunk is a prime example, which basically amounts to a few dumb text messages, some dick/nip picks, and 4 lines of repeated dialogue no matter how many times you “hang out” with your chosen lover.

If it’s not a twitch based shooter or racing game, having a high framerate is entirely irrelevant for the most part. I’d rather play at a higher resolution for a game like this.

It’s literally two settings. Quit acting like this is tantamount to optimizing a game on PC, for fuck sakes.

Same. If nothing else, offering motion blur as a toggleable option would make everyone happy.
