I had the original on NES and remember playing it as a kid (and never getting very far because it was so fucking hard), but aside from that, I’ve never had much affinity for the series. Also, I don’t like anime... like at all.

Oh for fuck sakes, shut up.

Yep. I’ve hated the shift towards digital for this very reason. I haven’t touched my Ubisoft account in a long while (I don’t even remember my password at this point), and I don’t have a ton of games, but it still irks me that I could potentially lose what I’ve already paid for simply for not logging onto their shitty

I don’t like sand...

Rule 34 vibes for sure.

But man, there aren’t that many devs out there just putting out games with bottomless pits of content

Republicans screeching about tax dollar waste while launching countless investigations into Biden based on conspiracy theories with zero evidence just to smear him sounds about par for the course. Fuck these assholes.

Exactly why I skipped it. It seems geared towards generating weird content for social media rather than tight design. I enjoyed Breath of the Wild, but was done with it when I finished and had no desire to play again.

I mean saying “what’s up sexy” to someone who you think is 18 when you’re 20 is pretty fucking tame.

I bowed out midway through season 2. Just didn’t care, and literally found myself nodding off during one of the episodes.

I’d love to work at a company with absolutely no pressure to ever release anything. I don’t mean that facetiously either, these guys/gals have virtually unlimited resources to just noddle around with ideas. If they turn into something more, great! If not, no biggie, onto the next thing.

He literally had zero transition plan. The whole thing was a grift to garner ratings, money, and start a TV network spending the next 4 years bashing Hillary while claiming the election was stolen from him.

They used to be really difficult to pull off (I’m thinking the arcade days of the original trilogy), and hard to figure out. That was the appeal. It hasn’t been that way for 20+ years.

The fatalities have been easy to perform since Deadly Alliance on the GC and PS2, but ok. You can literally pause the screen during the input window, lookup the button combo, and do it.

Lol, the thumbnail had me laughing. Well done.

This type of game attracts the exact kind of person who shits their pants over trivial shit like this, so nobody should be surprised.

I will never not hate Wind Waker’s aesthetic. I hated it 20 years ago, and I still hate it today.

Absolutely hated Prey. Tried playing it twice and threw it in the bin. Never understood the praise it received. Same with Death Loop. Loved the Dishonored games though.

I’m really at a loss as to the overt obsession with this story, even from the beginning this past week. Hell, it was over before it even began apparently.
