You got robbed.
You got robbed.
I just wrote the same but less funny!
No that's pure gold.
Of all the puns on all the posts in the gawker media universe, this was my favourite.
I figure Sparks is just negging him to break down his self esteem and make him star in a crap movie?
Omg. Omg. I can't. That was too good.
To be fair, he was Sean from Breaker High who can’t really be described as cool or handsome (although totally adorable. Sean and Tamira forever <3).
It kind of sucks that of all characters, Noah was the one who didn’t have an arc.
(I’ll show myself out, thanks.)
“You’re not handsome, you’re not cool”
For one she’s a grown woman that is not in high school.
As a smoker who is trying to quite, 1-2 cigarettes is really a small amount. So, it doesn’t sound like he is hopelessly addicted...when he is ready to give it up, he will. And I agree, smoking is really gross. I always feel ashamed when I smell like it. :-(
Smoking is such a tough one. My husband is the same way you are-and for him I think it’s a social addiction. He likes being able to step outside with someone at a crowded party and just chat with a cigarette. He enjoys just the act and atmosphere of smoking the occasional cigarette. I used to get upset but now I’ve…
You make a really good point. Thank you for your perspective.
He’s exactly like me. I smoke one or two cigarettes every night that I’m having a glass of wine, which is a lot of nights. It IS a ritual and one I enjoy a lot in the moment. Honestly I wouldn’t want to give it up. I have a difficult job and I’m a worrier and I have a terrible, mean mother, ie, a life like everybody…
Well, not to be all doom-and-gloom, but it’s incredibly unlikely that smoking at that level is going to harm him more than just living on this polluted crapfest of a planet, and he could get hit by a car at any moment anyway.
Thiiiiiiiis.
I hope they helped. I hope things work out. My brother is fine now, my mother-in-law died of something else, and my Dad’s heart disease was exacerbated by his years of smoking, but, remember, he wasn’t able to quit until he was over 70. They all had to try multiple times, but eventually succeeded.
And honestly the last thing you want to do is annoy a pig.
To add on to all of the “you can’t control him” advice, which is great, you also need to face the fact that he may never quit and you need to decide for yourself if that is a deal breaker. My best friend married a guy who smokes (tobacco and pot) every day. Her passive dislike has turned to loathing over the course of…
I never smoked but I remember watching my mom try to quit multiple times. My grandfather died when I was 16 and she hadn’t smoked in years but she picked right back up. It’s been awhile since she last smoked but I could tell, even as a kid, that it was hard. There was one time she would just go up and down the stairs…
