I've thought about this a lot, and in my opinion, the timid driver is much worse.

Put it this way: the aggressive driver is more likely to get in an accident. The timid driver is more likely to cause an accident. Or traffic. Or both.

I'm not endorsing either behavior. But the aggressive driver is at least somewhat

People need to think about how they affect the flow. The flow of traffic should be respected above all else. Wait a couple second before merging. Let that guy in your lane. If it helps the flow it helps you.

I live in Edmonton and the roads do not warrant this disaster. Half the people here don't use winter tires and everyone is a rush to get nowhere.
