I think this is going to better than its bigger brother the Focus.
Can't wait till the first typical BMW buyer walks into the showroom.
From what I have read most reviewers said that it was a easier car to drive than expected. The V-8 has a really flat power and torque curve. Chassis is set up well.
Archer in his later years?
Paddles
As for SUV's the Cx-5 ran faster around Laguna Seca than a Mazda 3 did. Mazda launch that SUV at a auto-x and track day, most of the journalists where amazed how well it drove and how much fun it is. The Mazda 2 and Fiesta do share some similarities, but one they don't is weight. The 2 is much lighter and has that…
How is Mazda on your list? They make 7 models. Only one is boring. The Cx-9. Mazda 2 fun, Mazda 3 fun,2014 Mazda 6 fun, Cx-5 fun. Hell even the Mazda 5 is fun considering its in the most boring category of vehicle besides hearses. Miata fun/fun.
Needs Type-R sticker.
Pretty sure its a Pilot.
I don't buy sports cars for gas mileage. I buy them for miles per smiles.
The Rx-8 backseats are actually usable and accessible unlike all the other coupes you mentioned. I can sit behind myself very comfortably The only problem is that you can't see much out of backseats.
The Rx-8's power to weight is better than the FRS. Torque to weight is worse. The reason the Rx-8 feels like it has no power is that the power curve and torque curve are very flat. Not like the S2000, with its vtec changeover.
