If your point is that the NFL officiating this year has been consistently horrible, then you will get no argument from me.

I will just leave these right here.

That is absolutely correct that the refs missed that delay of game call. I remember an interview with a ref one time about how hard it is to get that call right with all of the other things that they have to watch, which also goes to my point about using technology to improve officiating.

True, it was the ultimate “give me a stadium or I am moving my team!” for many years, and it did work well for them... until it didn’t.

Not really all that grand or special, the NFL has been working tirelessly for decades to get NFL teams back to LA. Now they have two, one of which had trouble selling out a small soccer stadium, the other a very impressive team. The Rams did what they had to do, and in no way do I fault them.

“Missed” may be overstating it.

I guess that we know who the NFL wants to win the Superbowl.

All I can tell you is that he did not consider himself bi. He said he was gay, and doing his best to pass as straight when he was in the Army. He said that he was never sexually attracted to women.

He did not consider himself to be bisexual. He and my friend’s mother divorced amicably and he moved in with his boyfriend. He went through with the sexual act with his wife because he was expected to do so, by society and his faith (big Catholic family). He said that he had never really been attracted to women.

You know, you would think that a guy who made his name prosecuting THE MOB would understand how stupid a defense that is.

Apparently no one has told the Travel Channel (Trvl, or whatever they call themselves now), because I just saw it while watching Mysteries at the Museum a minute ago.

Graham joined the military back before even “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” when being exposed as gay would mean dismissal from the service and prison time.

J. Edgar Hoover looked nothing like Leonardo DiCaprio.

It really is like the last 50 years just did not happen in their minds, doesn’t it?
