Introduced on the 2 series convertible. Available over the counter for every BMW from the last 20 years or so; it’s a simple butter knife and electrical connector away. Don’t ask me how I know this. :/ Comes with BMW roundel, “BMW,” “///M” and “xDrive” inserts for variety. http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/5056/B…

Nice try. Rolls is a BMW brand.

I love how at 3:48 in the video you linked to, a silver Ford Focus magically turns into a blue Toyota Corolla... Yikes.

In all fairness, these are probably pre-production models that have been assembled and torn down more times than the interior of Matt Farah’s Million-Mile Lexus.

Whoa. Used parts for $600? Yikes. Best of luck! I guess you don’t need to worry that they’ll be corroded, though.

Seriously, fuck this shit. e39 BMWs have it, too, and I spend two hours drilling this out while simultaneously trying to avoid destroying the hub. And I have a California car; imagine what rust belt brakes must be like.

That’s crazy, especially considering the BMW lights are cheaper...

Yep. It also makes the front bumper a pain to remove, and the headlights, too, should one ever need to do some work underneath. A more typical approach would have been to extend the fender down to meet the headlight, and have the bumper wrap up towards them. Like most other cars.

Funny, that’s one of my biggest disappointments on the whole car. That, and the weird three-piece front lighting.

The 4runner’s a great truck. My grandfather’s put his 05 “Sport Edition” 4x4 V6 model through 5 Indiana winters and 150k miles, and he’s only done basic maintenance on the car. It’s never left him stranded even once. He takes good care of it, but doesn’t baby it, and yet it still looks great!

Ouch. Bet insurance was none too happy. Driver’s airbag? Love the color! I think red looks fantastic on the early e90s.

Oh, no! Sorry to hear that! Glad you’re ok; was the car done for?

Or how about eliminating the middle opening all together? I get that they’re invoking the spirit of the old car, but I think those angel eyes could have been sacrificed; it would still look fine with lights like the MB AMG GT’s.

Ooh, progress! And the CR-V is a great car for dogs; all the plastic in the back makes it super easy to clean, though the windows do get... interesting, shall we say.

Nah, just do an LS swap (lol) like this guy. :) But seriously, I hope they do a ‘speed version, as then the engine can make its way to the 3 and the 6, where it would be great! Only thing they need is a touch more power.

Now that is sexy. Wow!

...unless the SS is the wife’s car, in which case you have the coolest of wives, TeeJay!

Just not feeling it. A lot of curves in one place. I like the Miata better, TBH. Hope it grows on me and looks better in person.

What is it with the multitude of light openings in modern Fiat/family autos? Ex: This, new Jeep Cherokee, and the rear of the Ferrari California. And I don’t like the way this looks. Looks kinda odd to me; same way I feel about the original Alfa Spyders.
