@Lord_Data: It would be awesome if Gawker made a food related site.
I got my finances in line by using mint in conjunction with a credit card.
@cesarcantua: Good. Don't buy one then. It wasn't meant for you.
I was once giving a presentation and the computer froze. So I just continued the presentation without the aid of the slides and told everyone I had a paper copy of some of the important pictures if they wanted to see them after. I think it went well.
So I was thinking of replacing my Desktop machine (Dell Optiplex, P4 1.5 GHZ, 512MB of RAM bought used for <$50 a few years back). I don't have much of a budget and after doing a quick Google I discovered that I might be able to build a somewhat decent (for everyday computing not gameing) computer for ~$250.
Does the PDF exploit affect alternative readers like Preview too?
This is what the NJ driving manual sugests. I thought that this is what you were supposed to do.
I used to do this, but the salt kept getting clogged and it was spreading too far
My father has been recently offered jobs where he would get close to twice the salary he gets now. I asked him about them and he said that they like him so much where is he now that he can work from home whenever he wants, get virtually unlimited vacation days as long as he gets his work done, and leave early and come…
I opted for the easy configuration route with a refurb Airport Express.
I can't seem to get it to work with Mac
@jupiterthunder: They don't reprogram cards. The charge for demagnetized cards is $25. Most things on campus are centralized under one system, but some rooms/areas (the news room for example) have their own separate system. Until the card stops working in doors, its annoying to use but not unreasonable. It is…
@dreniam: Hmm. I can't find it either. You may just have to revert back to the normal site.
The magnetic strip on my student ID card is weak. It still works in doors, but more often than not fails to swipe in the meal plan registers. Is there a way to make the magnet stronger? Replacing it is really not an option (costs money, have to change various door readers to allow my new card to work, etc).
NO, NO & NO! DON'T DO ANY OF THAT STUFF WHILE DRIVING.
The iPad is due to come out at the end of March. Last year, and the year before, Apple announced a new iPhone OS at the beginning of March. I wonder if there is something else that Apple isn't letting on.
I may use this gmail tip. The problem is that all of my Google services are pretty connected to my gmail address and I don't really want to move those. Perhaps I should use gmail for my domain on a spare domain name I have so that I can continue to use my old Google account.
It doesn't look particularly useful. Nothing that you can't do between your desktop, dock and dashboard. It honestly doesn't even look that easy to use. Just a bunch of eye candy.
@tablespork: If I am paying, there better be no ads.
