It seems like he is obviously responsible for his death in a general way (like forcing him to do drugs initially). I have no law background, so I am wondering if there is any way he is legally responsible if Moore overdosed at his house (manslaughter, negligent homicide?) I am assuming that is what happened as

I don’t think it was a first incident. Sarah Silverman’s older sister who dated him way back in the day tweeted about some road trip they took after they broke up where he had some pretty sketchy behavior. He definitely has some major issues.

They definitely did not say yes. He asked in a few of the situations (not the phone) and only one person “willingly” went along with it, although she was in a subordinate position at work. The others thought he was joking.

Of course, but if you think that young, pretty actresses haven’t been treated as much more replaceable than serious male actors, and lucky to be there and only there because they have voluntarily slept their way to the top, then I think you are being purposefully oblivious. Being treated as eye candy is a bit of a

Use your power! Seriously, let’s get rid of the idea that all women are replaceable pretty faces.

I was pretty horrified by the trailer when it first came out.

The weird thing is that is is exploring misogyny and assault and being very self-aware of the dynamics, but it is very uncomfortable to begin with. And knowing that he was actually doing these things to real people behind the scenes (or at least did, not sure when/if he stopped) makes it a bit more creepy. I stopped

Everything that has been written about this, and where he admits that the stories as described are true.

They did not say yes. Well, one of the five did. The others definitely did not, and one he did not even ask. Where are you getting this from?

I think there is a difference between being able to access the changing room as your identified gender, and gender-neutral, meaning unsegregated dressing rooms. It is not the end of the world, but I do think it makes things more uncomfortable for teens trying on clothes for their friends and coming out to look at the

My roommate and I took some really goofy pictures of barricading ourselves inside our apartment after I was mugged at gunpoint and my keys and license with my address were stolen. Lots of people deal with trauma through humor.

TL:DR: The writers at the Post are journalists, and the writers at Jezebel proved that they’re....something else.

The story with named victims has been out for 20 minutes or so (forever in internet time).

Wait no longer:

I mean, I kind of like the cover, but the article....WTF did I just read?

To be fair, I don’t think they have the same resources to protect against libel suits, and there are likely people willing to go on record now, after the Weinstein story, who wouldn’t have been willing to go on record before. But I do think that Jezebel and Gawker (RIP) have internally inconsistent views of when they

I think all the takes above don’t necessarily contradict each other. Identity politics can be a crucial tool while at the same time being divisive. The problem is when groups (white people) see the divisions as being caused by identity politics, rather than being pointed out by identity politics.

I think Lord of the Rings is a big reason for this in general. It is basically the father of all medieval-esque fantasy novels, the definition of the genre, and is virtually all-male and all-white. And while Tolkien I think denied that it was a direct allegory of WWI, it definitely was influenced by English soldiers
