It is possible that she was abandoned after she had already learned some language though, which could improve her chances.

We should start a pinky toe club! I spent hours entertaining myself as a child by wiggling my pinky toe.

I am a woman with narrow feet, which I guess is better than being a man with narrow feet, but you would be amazed how many women’s shoes don’t have laces. I can’t wear most flats or boots or sandals because they just flop right off. And I am a half size, and some things, like fucking rain boots, don’t come in half

You probably know a ton more than I do then :) But, being from a preppy, New England town, they were already “huge” in the 90s. But I guess not everywhere or internationally.

I don’t have any insightful analysis about them, but I first started occasionally shopping there in the 90s, and they definitely weren’t hip. They were preppy - expensive basics. Like what the Gap was at the time, but higher quality. Cable sweaters and cardigans, button down shirts, khaki pants, etc.

This is me reading the progression of complaints:

Going to drunk seders that my Jewish friends threw in college was awesome.

The rise of the Christian Right way predates Bush though. I mean, he certainly was helped by the rise, and collaborated with it, but I think of that as something starting more in the early 80s.

It is an incredibly difficult topic for sure, and I am sure it will get even more difficult the more things we can start to screen for.

I understand that parents love their children fiercely, and that once you have a severely disable child here that you love it and in most cases wouldn’t choose to go back in that time machine and have an abortion. However, I believe that if most of those parents were able to wave a magic wand over a subsequent

I am getting major college flashbacks now.

Ha. Our master bath has 3x3 of floor space so I feel you there. Both my 6 and 3 year olds still come in to chat me up and watch since it is just off the kitchen. As far as design though, it is more normal than our first house, which had a transparent shower and sink facing the bed with no wall between them.

I just wanted to note that Carolyn Bryant did not lie about being whistled at. He did flirt and whistle at her. She lied on the stand about being physically and verbally threatened by him (this is in the stories linked to in the article). Given the importance of lies and inaccuracies in this whole history, I don’t

I was confused, because as a parent with young kids there are no vacations, but the other option wasn’t appealing either.

It is definitely not the same thing, but my husband travels for work a lot, and it is a tradeoff. It is a pain in the ass having to do everything he normally does and I get way less sleep, but I don’t have the constant low-level tension about dividing labor.

That is my go-to strategy as a parent.

I am sympathetic to that. I am a woman, but as a messy person with a Type A husband, I understand the frustration of living with someone who has, in your view, really ridiculous standards. Personally, it is a good trade-off because I feel like I need someone to kick my ass so I don’t devolve into a hoarder, but I

I don’t know. Honestly, my husband probably does 65% of the household chores. Well, we have a cleaning lady now, but he is a TYPE A personality and is much better with organizing meals and backpacks and stuff like that. I take on all the laundry and the equipping of kids and the appointments and the psychological

God, I haaaaate all of the pyramid schemes. I feel like as a mother nearing 40 I am right in the sweet spot for my acquaintances joining all this shit. Why would I want to join some online “party” to buy something. I hate people. I just want to buy something in peace.

I know! I’m not sure who discovered that first, but I swear that must make up 50% of their sales.
