What? Not even a “Sorry?” I am skeptical of the Canadian-ness of that bank.

There, I fixed it.
Was looking for this. Took far too long :)
The M45 always looks timeless to me, sure it’s not as much a “regular car” as some suggestions but there’s almost a Bruce Wayne quality to it that stands out, all it needs is LED headlights and it’s a 2019 model.
I think the 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy and Outback aged well for this reason: they were behind the times.
I wish it was more regular, but the 9-5 is 9 years old and still looks like a concept car.
I’m going to toss the B5.5 VW Passat into the mix. There’s just something incredibly classy about these cars and even though they are nearly 20 years old now they still have a kind of timelessly classy German look. Of course I’m a bit partial. Mine:
Your suggestion is people buy older Land Rovers?
Clean, understated, classic. I look at this Infiniti M45 with the same appreciation as the E39 5 Series, the TL in the title photo, or the last gen Prelude. The design is elegant in its simplicity, and has aged better than the newer (bloated looking) M series.
I may be a bit bias as I have one, but I think the 1.5 gen fusion is particularly sharp for a mid size sedan. Fairly aggressive looking, but not too over the top.
Here’s a weirdo - I saw a well-maintained Isuzu Axiom in the wild the other day and I was impressed by how well the styling holds up.
I think the Pontiac G8 could still pass as being brand new. In fact, I brought mine in for an oil change about a month ago and one of the techs had heard a rumor that Pontiac was back (??) and thought mine was a 2018. Nope, in fact, mine is over 9 years old!
Almost all Acuras before 3rd gen TL timeline fall into that category. But a well sorted Legend really ticks all my boxes.
The best of the 2nd-gen LH cars was the Chrysler 300M. Tightening up the proportions to keep it under 5 metres seems to be the secret sauce that let it age better than the Intrepid, Concorde, and LHS.
I’ve never owned one and probably never will (I hear it was a real turd of a car), but one car that I’ve always admired from afar is the first-gen Dodge Intrepid. The second-gen looked too bloated, but I love the sleek design of the original. And that greenhouse looks like it offers great visibility for the driver.
Quick! How old is this car!
Both generations of the Aurora are still surprisingly good-looking head turners
First generation S80. It’s not a stunner, but it doesn’t look ridiculously dated.
Original Chrysler Pacifica.
