This. It’s like adorable dog missing one leg or something.
My dad has one, same story. It really is great to drive for what it is. But a friggin’ money pit of a car. I love it, though.
This is EXCACTLY how I feel about this ‘issue.’
Everyone commenting angrily not realizing that’s exactly the point. I think it’s stupid, too, and ugly, and quasi-dangerous and blah blah blah. But sitting around on the internet bitching about how over people spend their money curiously never actually makes them go away. The Trump analogy actually made a lot of…
OH EM GEE. That is a sexy car, I need a classic Celica for sure.
Man, that is an unflattering photo. But I agree, I think these have to appreciate, they are borderline classics already.
And I love the Fiat, anyway.
He also has several Fiat 500s. Lol. I’m just bitchy because I read most of the text thinking I had forgotten about a RWD I6 Honda before realizing it was a bike. I even clicked the link and loaded the ebay page. I’m so dumb.
I’m not sure what all the hate is for here; it’s rare, it’s reliable (enough), it’s interesting. I don’t see why they wouldn’t appreciate at least as much as other cars of the same vintage after the allotted time period.
Hnnnng, that photo. I can’t find an un-destroyed one in my area, please someone give me one.
God, do I want one of these. I do not like Porsche as a company, yet the 92_s and the 94_s are some of the coolest cars to me. 80s/90s-tastic looking automobile, that.
I would drive it. If only to embarrass my spouse and children, but I would unironically love it.
I’m actually thrilled with this concept. And may buy one, when it comes out.
I can’t star this post or this comment hard enough.
This is a fantastic thread.
Yeah, no... Even if it’s a stupid car, it’s not badly built, and AWD convertibles are basically unheard of anwhere near 20 grand. I wouldn’t buy it either, but it’s still a Nice Price on a weird car, and without weirdness we would all be driving Camrys (which is a fantastic car, BTW).
And air-cooling!
Fantastic comment.
