I don't know what kind of bike allows Jax to ride from Stockton to Oregon and back in one day, but it's gotta have a jet engine on it.

Never. Say. That. Please.

Another reason I'll miss Mr. Rossi. Sigh.

I think the favor Jax asked the presidents has to do with patching black guys into the club. He mentioned an "unwritten" rule, and he's talked with the guys about bringing them in.

Goddammit, the flaming assholes at the local FOX station took it off
Fios on Thursday. So I just missed this. Freakin' cable companies.

It's an old family secret that his grandmother was Dutch.

" If I’d seen this episode as a kid, it would’ve scared me for life."
I did. It has.

I read the comics for about 10 years, and I like the show. I like that they're making John almost as much of a git as he was in the books, and that the writers are trying to get a lot of the elements into the show. I do wish it was a little creepier, tho; the book regularly had me looking over my shoulder.

Erk, that's what drove me mad. Not only did lil' Tommy Westphal have prison rape in his head (what on Earth were the Westphals watching on TV?), the last 5 minutes seemed like a giant FU to the people who had stuck with the show the whole time. "It was all in your/his head!" is the laziest out ever (see: Dallas).

Not murdered, killed in a car crash. So 1/2.

Ah, so if a show has over 100 episodes, the ending can't suck. Good to know.

He was smoking in this episode. Just FYI. And the ending of St. Elsewhere sucked (damn right I'm still mad).

Forgot to mention: I am looking forward to see how the Spectre is going to fit into this show. Kudos to the show for using the DCU history (as opposed to junking it for the New 52).

I thought the grade was too harsh. You make good points, but it always takes time to lay the groundwork for something with this much backstory. (But we finally see John with a lit cig!). I was happy to see that they kept Midnite's sister in the plot, and look forward to when/if she gets free from Hell and goes to

Was ANYONE surprised that Barosky was the rat? The only mystery about that is how he's gonna die.

Exactly. I saw it like that too.

I will say, Jimmy Smits killed it this ep. That scene at the end, with him and Jax… I've been waiting all friggin' season for something like that.

That was awesome. Prostitution, stripping, porn directing, notary; a one-stop shop!

About. Damn. Time.

Why, thank you!
