I would rather prematurely pull out a "spoiler" on AVC commenters than too late.  Even implying I know there is something after the prison is a spoiler I guess right? Also.. if Lori is annoying everybody just wait until they bring Gabriel.

Those brothers aren't in the novels in any form right?  I certainly didn't notice them.

Yet I wonder if the first seasons were kind of deer in the headlights for Robert Kirkman (certainly the letters section of the novels indicated they could do no wrong with the story changes.)  Perhaps they actually listened to him more for Season 3.  Here's hoping anyways.
