I disagree.  I think the motivations for violence between men and women are very different.  Men will get homicidal violent for many reasons.  Women tend to protect either themselves or others by use of violence.  The analog between the "chest burster" and pregnancy was great, and obvious.

Don't mess with my Aliens pal.  Paxton is the example of ignorant youth going to war.  That wasn't bad acting, that was the character.  I don't want to cross into dangerous territory but there are plenty of people like this in the world.  And they do tend to get into a lot of trouble like the marines in Aliens.
