But can she get up from her ass and work?
But can she get up from her ass and work?
We’re calling an engagement ring on Kim’s finger by summer...
Something tells me you don’t clutch the pearls over the disordered eating and body image issues that skinny dancers have been struggling with for decades.
“Unsure what to make of her noticeably-not-straight hair and muscular, curvy body, another dance teacher told her, “You’re my little wild woman.”
Why are you so fucking angry?!?
What are you worried about here, exactly? Yes, morbid obesity comes with increased health risks. But why do you feel the need to criticize this show so vehemently?
The premise of the show is that you shouldn’t be dismissed as a skilled dancer because of the size of your body, which i understand from the show and article is a huge prejudice in the dance industry. The show also addresses some of the criticism Lizzo faces as a bigger body but they talk about being active and fit..…
If someone is bigger and has the fitness to pull off that level of dancing, perhaps that's just the size their body should be.
This is on my list to watch for the same reasons mentioned in the article, and because several fellow plus size people have recommended it using that same word — “safe.” I’m also kind of worried I’ll just cry through the whole thing, because even this article is making me tear up. Representation matters.
I don’t see how a show about fat people being active is “idolizing obesity”. If anything its encouraging everyone, regardless of size, to dance and work out and have fun.
I don’t know, feel like Louis C.K. winning a Grammy was a pretty big slap.
Hailey looks like she just got out of the shower and her smashed boobs.
Hailey’s dress isn’t a goddess dress. It’s a sheet wrapped around her like a towel. They both earn spots on the worst-dressed list; it’s just that his outfit is SO much worse that she looks almost sensible next to him.
Olivia Rodrigo is wearing a slightly smaller woman as a dress.
I feel the same way about that cartoon that had the Arrested Development cast in it
I say, this Ezra Miller person seems like a dick.
“Love makes you do crazy things” - every man who’s ever physically abused a woman.
The normalization of this is twisted and insane.
That was dick move by Smith. Jesus, it was just a joke. There were a lot of people in that room who were targets of jokes, you didn’t see them get upset about it.
He’s a comedian. And Will thought it was funny (he laughed at the joke) until he probably saw that his wife wasn’t laughing. You’re saying physical assault is okay if you don’t like what someone says. This is absolutely ridiculous. You just wanted a “hot take” in writing as soon as possible.
