He makes a strong point. Everybody thinks Aspirin is harmless. But I remember one time I took an Aspirin and ended up driving erratically with briefcase with $29,000 in cash and a bunch of bottles of Aspirin. I was even charged with a DUI. They need to put a warning label on that stuff.
Omfg you didn’t pay attention to the movie at all. Batman doesn’t shoot a single person in this movie, all the scenes of Batman with a gun are from the Injustice timeline which is an alternate timeline from the future that happens if Batman doesn’t defeat Superman.
People remember he's seen Robin beaten to death, Batgirl paralyzed, Gordon retired cause he almost died, and his house burned. Then the world comes down when super people come about. He's a batman lost mentally. So yea he indirectly kills but he has a found Jesus moment and changes back by the end of the film when he…
You know what? The movie is boring as fuck but I love Batman in this! Cold hearted scary ass motherfucking killer, even Alfred is in on it. Murdering and shooting guys left and right, stabbing them in the heart, choke slamming them. Its a brutal violent and really scary bat monster. I don’t know where it sits in the…
We enjoyed the movie for what it was. It certainly had issues, but we had fun watching it and will see it again. I also wanted to add, the post apocalyptic dictator superman looks like the injustice universe and was very enjoyable to see on screen.
As a fan of the sport, I hope you’re able to continue writing for Deadspin on an even more regular basis. While it’s been a niche sport for some time, and will continue to be, I think one of the things boxing has going against it is some semblance of media coverage outside of the two or three massive promotions they…
Okay, is it mediocrity or, rather, is it fallibility that is revitalizing the division?
Whats strange to me is that there seems to be a one-sided fanboy thing going on. The hate side. The other “side” to this reads similar to my opinion which is free from irrationally picking one private company over another. We’re just saying “lets go see the Trinity on the big screen for the first time ever.” Its not…
My understanding is that a lot of people prefer Superman to be more colorful and boy-scoutish, and that with this movie they think that Superman will be gritty for some time to come.
I’m not a DC fanboy, but I really liked the Justice League cartoons. This ain’t them. I didn’t like Snyder’s Superman. And the trailers for this are more of that. Plus, he really miscast for Wonder Woman.
I mean, io9 talked shit about this film for three years, and then got even saltier when they weren’t allowed into the press screening. Seems pretty simple to me.
It’s funny, since DC movies should be the exact thing Gawker readers want: a powerful woman lead, diversity (MoS had a bunch, and Amy Adams fought and escaped Kryptonians on her own), and it’s the underdog.
Stupid fanboy nerds who don’t like that Superman killed someone even though he did it in the Reeves Superman films and the golden age comics. They also have huge hate-boners for Zack Snyder (along with most of the I09 writers/editors). They will hate this movie if it does well regardless of it’s quality.
I can tell you exactly what the case is . . . Zack Snyder. There is an inbred dislike for Snyder on io9. Couple that with the fact that Marvel has a particular tone that’s popular . . . meaning that some people are incapable of accepting a different tone for other properties.
Seeing as y’all don’t seem to have anything nice to say at all, I’m just gonna say I’m digging the vibe on these posters, especially the colors on the variant one.
I hope you guys put 115 million on them to win.
So, if somebody beans Utley with a 96mph fastball, can they just say, yes, they intentionally hit him with a 96mph fastball, but it’s all part of the game and they were just playing hard and he should’ve gotten out of the way?
*Aaron Hernandez gets pardoned*
Amazing shot, amazing story. Maybe this will get more white kids to play golf.
