The gas station at the Costco near me opens a half hour before the warehouse and closes a half hour after.

- Get gas when the warehouse isn’t open to beat the lines. There’s a Costco on my commute that I hit at around 7:15 am with no line and no waiting. Alternatively the pumps are usually open a while after the warehouse closes for the day.

Yep. When dealers are using expensive, premium new cars as loaners, you can reasonably guess that those cars are either sales lot poison, nailed to the showroom floor or the manufacturer is directly subsidizing loaner use through a corporate program, or both.

The Arteon wagon or the RS3 sport back would both be nice here. To be honest though, if I’m going to plunk down $50k for an Arteon R line... why not just plunk down another $10k for the RS3? Will you really miss that sport back (or the $10k) when you’re laughing like Dr. Evil as you drive it?

I’ve never even tried to look at Carvana’s website, as their crap clogs up most of the auto sale entries on Craiglist.

I wondered how long it would take for consumers to sour on their business model of buying used cars and charging thousands of dollars more than brick and mortar dealerships. Carvana is the Ticketmaster of used cars.

Good god. Thats honestly not even remotely surprising. I wont get into political spectrums, but no matter what side youre on, when youre a journalist, a thing called “ethics” exists. 

If you haven’t heard the story of why she is no longer at the position she left here for originally, it’s great.

Torch and Tracy are gone for less than a week and I’m already seriously considering removing this site from my feed reader :( 

Ive heard alot of people say that, and ive resisted it... maybe due to the very good David Tracy articles... bit this... this is just next level...
