I shot myself in the foot when I ordered my 3DS XL a few days ago in preparation for Smash 4. I had the vanilla 3DS for a few years now and it's showing it's age(battery may be dying too).

I think this is going to be the 3DS's equivalent to the Game Boy Color. We'll probably see titles compatible with both systems at first, there may be some games that are 3DS compatible but have some features that specifically take advantage of the extra buttons (and maybe the extra power), and as the market shifts…

Gamers really are the worst though. We're one of the worst fan bases of any genre or industry in all of fandom and we seemingly came out of no where 30 some years ago. Forget the movie and music freaks, we are literally the worst.

I always start at 50cc. Sure, it's easy and you'll probably win every race, but you get used to the tracks and the karts and all that. Plus, going through all the races first in 50 and then 100cc means that once you get to 150cc, you probably have unlocked and found a kart configuration that you like.
