This is the same guy who understands you can tax something (carbon) in order to discourage behavior. He then says you can put high taxes on income and wealth, with no changes to human behavior. 

No, a carbon tax is literally a tax on living and is EXTREMELY regressive. We already tax everything two or three times before it gets to the consumer, who then pays income tax on the money they earned to buy simple things like toothpaste. Adding more taxes is absolutely not the solution.
