@stealthpengu: The split screen online sounds like a great feature. I wasn't initially interested in this but as long as they keep putting features like this in I don't see why I wouldn't pick it up.

@Cpt. Overkill: I agree. I'm not defending it. I'm saying its stupid they didn't have online on it. I'm just saying random matches online would suck if there are griefers.. Playing it with friends online would definitely still be good.

@Archaotic: Next year.. I think they said something about it not being this year because New Super Mario Bros. Wii. So I'm guessing it will probably be released Q1 or Q2.

@MysteryPersonX: I have NEVER EVER been able to find an online match for SSBB. Maybe its because noone (even from launch day) were searching for other online opponents in Australia... or that it is in fact pretty bad.

@Ryguy226: I know. I think its a poor excuse, and there needs to be a few more online titles.

@Cpt. Overkill: well hold on here. It sucks that theres no online, but think of the griefing possibilities. I think online this could be more annoying then fun. Its something I would rather play with friends or people that I know then with strangers from around the world.

@incompleteunit: I think you miss the point.. the first one still has issues. Shipped as an incomplete game which later had to have what was originally intended for it thrown in.. Then, they throw out a new game exactly a year after with no real additions.

@phinehas: I was thinking of perhaps picking it up for the bundled in motion plus... that fencing game.. I just can't wait for sword fighting god damn it.

@cyberrat101: I want to see the pricing before I determine whether I'd buy it. But I've talked to a lot of people who I play L4D with a lot, and it seems we are all in the same boat. That boat happens to be WTF Valve couldn't this be released as an expansion or DLC?

@MysteryPersonX: Yeah, I think what he meant was level themes were going to be revisited from the old ones, not necessarily an identical planet. But I may have misinterpreted what was being said in the interview. Either way, I believe most of it was referring to art/assets/settings. from various planets.
