Cashiers are a dime a dozen. The rest I mostly disagree with but have games to watch and bourbon to drink.

Usually those who need those jobs and only work fast food ate menial types with little ambition.
Drive thru employees are easier to replace.
Seems no one here knows much about MLS. Almiron types are the new DP. Zlatan at LAFC would be wonderful. He is not a bum like Terry.
Zlatan Ibrahimović, Manchester United’s ageless striker
People who complain about their lot in life while doing little to increase their knowledge or skill set deserve their lot in life. There are so many options out there. If one waste more time complaining about a shit job than they do striving for a better one, they get no sympathy. They get to serve shit coffee and…
Headphones. Podcast. Fuck Pence.
People can choose. I grew up in Louisiana and avoid fried food best I can and haven’t had sweet tea aka adult kool-aid in over 8 years.
That and the middle joy stick trick to get out of every pin attempt.
Thats motivation to get good grades and not ever have to take shit serving jobs ever again.
I’m self employed. Smart, hardworking people who are forced to take a shit job are usually motivated to better their situation. We all should take a shit job in college. Lets you know what you don’t want to do.
I am not even sympathetic to increased workload. That extra profit will help keep people employed through a slow stretch. People who risk the time and money to create a business and jobs should try to get as much out of their investment as they can.
I know a good deal about mental health. If one is conditioned to accept shit food and a shit job, that’s on them. The sugar diet isn’t so sweet when the consequences of eating a shit diet takes its toll. And being conditioned into drive thru work, well, that’s some people lot in life. They grow to hate it they can…
You should. Eating healthy is way better than any fast food. The jobs and the product suck. People who actively chose the food or the job did it to themselves. And the consequences and following complaints fall on unsympathetic ears. Lots of health problems come from a shit diet.
How people don’t get this is fascinating. Not understand the concept shows these types can not even assistant manage a drive thru place. Or at a least I wouldn’t hire them for anything beyond the menial jobs that sometimes require a sense of urgency when busy.
Only if you think lotto tickets are a good investment. Kinja always has deal on coder programs and such. Invest in yourself and good things happen. Complaining about peak and rush hours at a menial retail job shows they have no business acumen. Not even drive thru manager material.
Life isnt fair. Never will be. That’s the reality. Complain about the job helps no one. It is great they network while serving. I did it. If their degree was in something useful, they will find a job. But these art history types expect to serve drinks and it not be a hectic job sometimes? No sympathy. And as all…
Nah. Seen it done. People expecting to serve beverages and make bank are the delusional folk. Its not supposed to be a high wage job. They have vending machines that serve coffee. Not much to it. So why expect much in pay? Its not easy to get some jobs. Developing skill sets that are valuable takes time and effort.…
An 8th grade drop out in my town makes about 50k a year doing it. Better than menial burger flipping.
Because I found a way to not have to work a drive thru, I have plenty of time to do as I please. The job is simple. The employees have made no investment or risk in the business. They shouldn’t get more money because “OMG I had to make more drinks than usual.” GTFO. You took a job making coffee and such. Complaints…
