She's extremely well qualified and a career GM'er. She's got a degree in engineering and has been behind a lot of successful product pushes at Chevy post-bailout, including the Cruze.
Well, she was previously executive VP of GM's global product development. I guess she's fully qualified for the position.
I don't know too much about her, but as long as she was named CEO because she is smart, a good business person, well spoken, strategic, etc, this is great news. If she was named CEO for the sake of having a female CEO, then PC has crossed the line. I surely hope its the former for GM's sake.
