I assume they mutually shut each other out having given in to despair. He'll likely survive over Dorian, given his use and attachment to other characters but god damn I hope Lilly gets to hulk out a little with him first (My throwaway theory is that she'll become Jekyll's 'Hyde' in the finale) before the dust settles.

Side note: I enjoyed Vanessa's house pours of whiskey this episode.

Also, Also: Lol for Dorian, Victor and Ethan struggling for relevancy.

For the past two seasons Billie Piper has stood shoulder to shoulder with Eva Green as a powerhouse and I say thee YAS QUEEN.

Oddly I've found Hecate's arc much more interesting, and earned, than Ethan's. I'll miss that but naked hellion.

If they wrap up Dracula/Lucifer this season, I'd love to see a final season with Lilly as the initial antagonist then Vanessa/ Amunet as the series finale big bad.

Ryan Sook's pencils in those books where so much fun!

That would make the desert wandering even more questionable. I'm being entertained and do have faith in the show, I just need it to continue.

My guess would be that with her mother dead and presumably not being in the good graces of her master after the covens failure, her powers are greatly diminished. That's why she's so desperately throwing her allegiance to Ethan because, as she said, it's his blood that has the power.

As much as I'm enjoying this season I hope to christ it gets renewed because there's no reasonable way to wrap up in the remaining four episodes if they had to make it a series finale.

IT'S CALLED ACTRESSING

Well that was rather good, wasn't it?

After burning out of comics as a child in the 90s, I came back in '01 to Darwyn's Catwoman and Quietly's Emma Frost. Both books where tremendously written but the art set the standard anew for me as an aspiring illustrator and lover of comics.

To series regular?

Renfield (once turned) also repeats dialogue :)

I feel like the last episode of this season should just be Vanessa Ives dropping a visual album about the truly shitty guys up in her biz.

"Dr. Lupone"

That is interesting, it's something I noticed his minions doing this season as well.

Perhaps, as this Dracula is mythically related to Amun-Ra/TheDevil/What Have You, then it has to do with the power of a True Name. He's drawing her back to the earthly plane in which he has power, affirming herself to 'Vanessa', as opposed to the Devil who tried to seduce her into accepting herself as 'Amunet' and I

Even an exhibit of imperial tea sets would be an eye opener with Ms. Green involved.
