First of all, you seem like the kind of person I want to grab a latte with and just chit chat the day away.

Really appreciated that half the episode looked like a Johnny Cash video.
This looks glorius. Ed Wood with about 20 gallons of fake tan.
I really enjoyed this episode and the interactions between Olivia, Mellie, Cyrus and Abbey (and the title! There was a throwaway line last season or so about 'reading being fundamental', clearly the writers are a fan of the Paris is Burning documentary, right?).
Coven was a mess but with characters who were (mostly) a delight. Its finale was ABOMINABLE sure but it remains as probably the most gif-able/ quotable of the seasons. It wedged itself into the pop zeitgeist like no other season has managed to do (even the over glorified season 2).
That's what I thought too. They toyed briefly with that whole witchy/ blood bath thing in Penny Dreadfuls last season and it's a delight. Plus The Countess seems to specify that her vassals collect 'pure' blood (drug free) which is as close to virginal as you can get in 21st century L.A, I guess.
Gaga is the least of our worries. It's the writing and plotting. The pseudo vampire bullshit should have been teased out to offer more mystery. Likewise the creepy kid apparitions and the dildo monster.
My immediate theory was that the text was from a lover and Chloe Sevigny is the macabre killer exacting righteous vengeance on gross skeez bag cheeters in L.A, culminating in the one she married who she sees as responsible for her sons disappearance.
Fairly Legal.
Hot take: This season of AHS is a sequel to The Backstreet Boys' 'Everybody' music video.
That is odd, to compare and contrast their struggles to ascertain who 'deserves' what. Who suffered best? That's the lot of women in fiction, it seems sometimes. As a stab in the dark I wonder if it's because Mellie's struggles tally up in the more reality based and relatable (rape, child loss, a failing marriage and…
I should add that I don't mean to sound too adversarial. You've obviously got a developed read of the show going and I love that. We're all just doing the best we can with the overacted monologues we're given.
I'm not criticising this season, just the relationship and that storyline. It's true, I'm certainly more interested in Mellie (I'm a ride or die fan of any Lady Macbeth archetype) at this point, I saw her bid for presidency from the get go and it's been a consistent but PROGRESSIVE storyline throughout the series. I'm…
Oh put a sock in it, toaster.
We have a crap right wing conservative party actually in power (with a majority) here in Britain so she's probably better informed than these Fox hacks on how bad any republican candidate will be for America.
I know right?
Not as interested in a 'Dislike' button as I am a 'Boo You Whore' button.
Just finished consuming the season in two days. Gorgeous.
You know it now. The past is unimportant.
I'm really waiting for somebody to re-re-invigorate the slasher genre with something like 'Netflix and KILL'.
