Yeah, so? They’d be right. how many “season passes” has fromsoft tried to sell me? Use your head. Ubisoft is one of the most cartoonishly soulless companies out there you’re really trying to compare them to from lol.

From has a track record of consistently producing some of the best DLC/expansions in the industry. Bordlerlands and AC... not so much.

Judge: Mr Murray, you have been accused of sexual assault, and it has corroborated by several witnesses. What is your defence?

What’s the point of wearing a cape if you aren’t using it to hide your paunch?

The production was filmed under the HALF initiative, which requires that all crew be at least 50% women and POC. So there being only 2 black crew members is really surprising.

Someone call the wambulance!!

I’d hate to make assumptions about this PA’s ability to get jobs (in Los Angeles County no less, where the show was filmed), but… Wouldn’t you know… Beforehand… That you were working on a show based on one of the most notorious serial killers of all time? And if you were pre-disposed to develop post-traumatic stress…

“I just feel like it’s going to bring back too many memories of working on it. I don’t want to have these PTSD types of situations,” Alsup says. “The trailer itself gave me PTSD, which is why I ended up writing that tweet and I didn’t think that anybody was going to read.”

So wait a minute here... Her allegation of racist abuse on set amounts to, “Somebody called me by the wrong name”, and it gave her PTSD? And I’m sorry but complaining about how gross it is to make a movie about Dahmer after you chose to work on a movie about Dahmer is disingenuous at best. Oh well, she got her 15

“We didn’t make this movie for straight people, so why didn’t they show up in droves?

I love Billy, I am excited to see this movie, but honestly I just never go to the movies anymore. I genuinely can’t recall the last movie I saw in the theater. Maybe The Batman? It’s just not a thing I do anymore, and I don’t think I’m alone since the pandemic.

Shocking that the ‘if you don’t see my movie you’re a homophobic bigot who voted for Trump’ ad campaign isn’t working

Representation is important. However, this particular argument seems asinine. The character in The Whale is supposed to be 600lbs. Unless they found a 600 lb actor, this role was always going to be a “fat suit” role. This guy, as much as I loved him in Mean Girls, doesn’t look like he’s that much more “obese” than

I’m sure he does “know more.”

I wouldn’t Grantham parole either.

Eh, it was one good movie followed by a couple diminishing returns sequels. By Beverly Hills Cop III the franchise had clearly run out of steam, and I think most people were content to let it die and move on.

“I could’ve done that!” -- Steven Seagal, on line for fifths at the local buffet

[sigh]

It’s as if Ezra Miller looked at the long arc of Johnny Depp’s career and said “I can do that, but twice as crazy and in a third of the time!”

- Another excellent episode. This show does justice to Tolkien’s world, even if the chronology is somewhat messed up. So far, it’s epic fantasy done right.
