Cabin was definitely marketed as a traditional slasher horror film (which was probably the right decision, great to have the people walking in get the rug pulled out from under them) but the movie itself is pure parody.

Stan Lee didn't have a cameo in X-Men First Class and that was one of the strongest of the X-Men franchise.

they choose their words really carefully "you are paying for no commercial INTERRUPTIONS" so you can't sue them for false advertising when that god-damn 5-Hour Energy ad starts before an episode of Agents of SHIELD.

probably doesn't help that a lot of "adult" animated series tend to go for the crass "this ain't your DADDY'S CARTOONS" shock value type fratboy humor. Things like Bojack Horseman and Rick & Morty are the exception even if they may first appear to be that type of thing on the surface.

NO JOKES!!!

you'd think it would be pretty easy for a television to notice black borders on the side or top and then zoom in accordingly

As someone in the NYC tristate area, it was usually third week or so of June? Weirdly, Ferris and Fry both didn't have any finals to worry about

to be fair, similar statements can be made about how Fassbender looked in that Steve Jobs trailer. He looks NOTHING like Jobs. Guess it could have been worse considering how close Leonardo DiCapprio came to getting that role.
