Duke power offered a program that has on peak and off peak for residential - off peak is .025 per/kWh. I’m not sure if they still offer it looking over their info - guess I’m grandfathered in?
My wife had an interesting comment on this - my other car is a Buick, and at 80 miles left to drive the fuel light comes on. My wife’s comment —“So when driving the Leaf, basically we are driving on empty all the time!”
By my calculations It costs me approximately $1.50 per 50 miles driven.
I’m almost certain it was close to nothing - Superchargers don’t charge - err make you pay - to use them.
Just bought a Nissan Leaf. 87 miles per charge. 1st day commute of 25 miles each way, with a side trip. The first time you see 20 miles left to drive you get range anxiety. Then you realize your only 2 miles from the house, and that trip cost you almost nothing.
So many jokes from the first image... so many.
Oil? what oil.
Interestingly, the rear “doors” open the rear fenders???
