I’ll see how it all wraps up before passing final judgement. I was a fan of the prequel trilogy, for what it was.

I completely agree. The scorn for the prequel trilogy does not line up with the strange willfully blind praise given to Disney-acquired Star Wars (in the movie-critic/media world).
“Consider the planning that takes.”
Oh, come on. He’s not THAT bad.
I guess I mean “don’t care about the immutable characteristics of the voice actor” as in: they don’t care whether they’re black or white.
Do you have a preference with regard to the skin color of an animated character’s voice actor?
I guess you’re right in suggesting I don’t know this for a fact, but I figure most of…
Part of the appeal of the original (for me) was the washed-out VHS quality of the film and the dirty litter-filled look of New York in the late 80's. This does not look like a good remake.
That’s the joke.
This is only stupid if you’re not a die-hard Godzilla fan. There’s something special about this particular giant, radioactive dinosaur-like creature, his particular roar (SKREEEONK), and his radioactive breath that to me (or presumably one of many other fans) would legitimately improve almost any film.
This is another…
This is what I came here for.
Saw Godzilla KOTM. LOVED Godzilla KOTM. Wrote “audience review” for this movie grew frustrated and sad about the abundance of garbage reviews for the movie by critics who seemingly have no respect or understanding for the franchise.
I want to personally thank Dougherty for this movie. It really feels like a gift to hardcore Godzilla fans. The reverence for the franchise shines through in every scene. I can’t imagine another American director making a better movie.
The disconnect between critic reviews and audience reviews is insane- and evidence…
I saw this movie and can say that for Godzilla fans, this is the real deal.
I was being sarcastic. Everyone should have handled this differently, including the “victim”. Companies employ good and bad people. People make good and bad decisions. The guy doesn’t work there anymore. This story seems like it would be embarrassing for all parties involved and I don’t see the motivation for…
I cannot fathom a situation in which I thought the best choice was to start giving another man a lap dance. Apparently this guy’s parents failed him.
The only thing I can think of that would be worse than giving your boss a lap dance, would be to then go on to tell the world that you gave your boss a lap dance.
I, for one, will be throwing away any games made by this company and boycotting them for life. Thank you for peppering this horrible story with pictures of the company’s games to remind us of which games have become tainted as a result of this stunning reveal.
THIS is an awesome article. I imagine it was an amazing experience to see this stuff in person. Thank you for sharing.
Now they can appease the strangely whiny adults who don’t find the character quite to their taste AND the people in online comments sections who pretend to care about the animators’ working conditions!
I think people get it in New Mexico every year.
I second this opinion. Do we complain about dragons not existing when they appear in fantasy works?
This looks really cool.
I think it’s good. Background vocals and Taiko drums are excellent.
