At some point, Randians claim that Rand's philosophy included and excluded so much that I have no idea what they like about it in the first place.

But Rand respects and loves ALL individuals.

Whatever Ayn Rand's merits are (and they're few, come at me), Sean Hannity and Glen Beck- and, to a lesser extent, Ron Paul- are poor representatives of her philosophy.

Sure, but that wasn't so much the case in 1991/'92. The Dems still had some Dixiecrats back then.

Well, at the time he'd only published one or two (but gotten a sizable advance for more- interestingly enough, he still owes those books, so I suppose he'll get to writin' in 2017). But yeah, the point is, he clearly had the means to afford a $1.6 million home from legitimate income.

Quite.

If such a rule exists, I've never been made aware of it, or had it enforced on me. But of course, lack of enforcement of a law isn't conclusive evidence that the law doesn't exist.

Those are all fair points, I suppose I was simply saying that, for the sake of argument, I'd concede the community organizing, if only because the law firm and private university were clearly enough (to the extent that the broader point has essentially been dropped, in fact). But it is nonetheless true that I oughtn't

Would that I could, but she and her mother/my wife are on their way to grandma's house.

Yeah, but who's craziest, the crazy man or everyone engaging him?

I have about an extra five pounds around the gut I'd like to lose, but I'm mostly content with where I'm at. I lost 50 pounds the year my daughter was born, so maybe now I'm just resting on my laurels. But I do feel that it is reasonable to have trouble finding the time to exercise with a newborn.

I'll call that a gray area, as his salary was almost certainly paid with grant money (that probably came from a variety of sources, but such sources probably included city, state, and federal governments), and as he ultimately answered to his community, not a managing partner, board of directors, etc.

Because I'm enjoying myself.

Well, it depends on the context (I obviously devote a lot more time and effort to fact-checking on my day job than fact-checking my posts on the AV Club), but I suppose it ultimately doesn't matter here, because the facts were so readily available it didn't really take a rigorous effort to find and post them.

"He got the money from all his wife's lawyering"

"despite never having had a job outside the state sector"

"Not like dear Mr. Obama who somehow managed to buy a six million dollar house when he was a state senator on $60,000 a year."

Yeah, why do the reviewers always let their opinions cloud their reviews?

I think it has; the Lord Commander admitted he was right, the men manipulated the second-in-command to give Jon de facto command, Stannis is asking him what to do, and Jon arranged the summit with Mance. The formal election may not have happened yet (and it's probably going to be just about the very next scene at The

I'm not sure that PBS gives a shit about reviews. It's a legal drama starring British TV's best known (in the US) actor. Don't overthink this.
