When you talk to mental health professionals on a casual, non-therapeutic basis, one theme that comes up consistently is that many were drawn to the profession partially because they were trying to figure themselves out after growing up in dysfunctional families.

There was an article a few months back where someone in the comments - who based off their post history may not have been alive at the time, let alone having ever worn a uniform - babbled on about DADT being a terrible, hideous compromise that sold out our precious servicemembers.

A few weeks back I had a family function in a town with a AAA team. Had the evening free and there was a game that night, so even though it was broiling I checked out the tickets.

Well, the meltdown when he got kicked into a 16k person queue in the middle of his stream and has a 2+ hour wait to get back in almost makes up for it.

Favorite scene of the day so far on Twitch was watching someone lined up about 80 people deep waiting for a NPC to respawn. Not pushing and shoving and spam clicking, but actually waiting patiently in line. Compared to the launch of OSRS, rather a contrast.
