Can confirm vacuum sealing - started a couple years back, and it’s made a ton of difference. I don’t have that sensitive a palate, but I definitely could tell the lack of additional unwanted flavors when I’ve defrosted it. Nowadays pretty much everything in the freezer is also vacuum sealed, which helps too.
