You’re not wrong, and like you I’ve never been much of a Whedon fan.

Short answer: no. The process involves anaerobic bacteria creating gases which, depending on a few variables, provide the possibility of raising it back to the surface. That generally takes multiple weeks.
Eh, you can go on a boat, or you can take a flight narrated by an astronaut who has spent half a year in space (and is a flight surgeon), along with a whole bunch of astrophysicists and really disgustingly colored donuts.
Wait a sec. Is Henry Louis Gates still involved with the Root beyond his name still on the masthead?
“Nah, this is at least partially about Bostonians ready to throw down and drive out the outsiders.”
Have you run across Guy Gavriel Kay’s Sailing to Sarantium and Lord of Emperors? I’ve been told by those in your line of work that it’s one of the best guesses at the culture and the politics of the Byzantines during the reigns of Justin and Justinian.
Eh, trust me - almost everyone feels that way about any number of shows that took place about 10-15 years before their bands really got big. I really wish I’d been old enough and in the right locations to hit the Smiths, the B-52s, the Hip, and several others in the 80s, just off the top of my head.

Avoid the hell out of r/freefolk if you’ve not watched it. Right now they’re not only spoiling the hell out of stuff in thread titles alone but also doing their best to get upvotes to get those spoilers on front page and Google search. Jerks.
While I’m grateful for the link, the selective quotes here leave out many of the nuances that the article captures.
Eh, I mean I suppose someone reading that could misinterpret the comment about pour-over wills and skip over these lines:
Yeah, those aren’t pleasant discussions but you’re at least aware of the necessity, which many people try to avoid.
Grace? GRACE!!
If you’re married, it’s already past time to do so, along with dual advance life support directives since you never want to make that decision in the ER. Glad this article got you thinking about it.
Counterpoint: If you’ve got enough assets to matter (and it doesn’t take that much - like anywhere north of $50k) and more importantly, you’ve got people relying on those assets to survive following your demise, take the extra step of setting up a trust along with a pour over will.
Oh, fascinating. I thought I’d read that there was a huge kerfuffle over the ownership, which I’d figured might have been part of the interest by Wall in reporting this. Those tend to be good stories.
