The fact you can re-download PS Plus titles and past purchases is certainly a good thing. But this absolutely shakes any good faith I had in an all-digital future. I’ll give them 5 years or so before they decide to shutdown those servers entirely. It’s a step up from the Wii Shop Channel, but that’s about it.

I don’t normally comment on performance issues but I’m playing the game on PS5 and the issues are unavoidable even on the new gen console. Performance is OK. It stays at mostly at 60 from what I can tell, but can definitely dip in crowded scenes (most notably start of Act 2).

I’m big on clips for connecting your controllers to your phone but ultimately have found that depending on your phone the weight is just too much of a pain to hold comfortably for long periods.

Pretty bold assumption. S2 or S3&K I think tend to get more praise from the community, and I would say that Sonic CD, despite the awesome soundtrack/diverse levels/creative ideas brought to the table- has some pretty critical pacing issues compared to numerical trilogy.
